Just a reminder to look down, you never know what beauty you will see.

What a great selection of garden ‘floor’ details. Designers so often ‘watch the donut not the hole’ and forget that the ground plane void in a garden is a often the most immediately visible element.
Catherine,
I completely agree! It is essential to establish your ground plane to achieve the complete feel of the garden. I have always been fascinated with pattern and texture so automatically I am drawn to interesting paving, stone, etc….I think often others are distracted by the bigger picture and forget to look down at the beauty right under their feet.
